I am Giuseppe Canale: machine learning engineer, CTO and founder of Silicon Psyche Labs, where we read the behaviour of language models from their output and fine-tune them. Twenty-seven years in software and cybersecurity (CISSP), author of the 2,282 notes on this site, of Mastering Machine Learning and of the Cybersecurity Psychology Framework.

What I do
- LLM products that misbehave. Behavioural evaluation of a deployed chatbot or agent (sycophancy, drift, hallucination as a behaviour, prompt injection, data leaks), with evidence, then the fix: prompt and retrieval work, or fine-tuning of the model itself.
- Fine-tuning and small models. Training and distilling small generative models for classification and reading tasks, on a budget, with the weights delivered and reloadable.
- EU AI Act and NIS2 technical readiness. Testing, technical documentation and the AI literacy training the law asks for, written for the people who will be audited.
- Architecture, code and data. Reviews of an AI system or a codebase, data pipelines, quantitative and financial analysis, due diligence on an AI product you are buying or investing in.
- Fractional CTO or AI lead. A few days a month to run your technical side while you hire or raise.
